che privilegia un punto di vista distaccato, quasi da spettatore
Il suo lavoro si configura come un’indagine sul paesaggio contemporaneo e sulle sue marginalità,
esplorando gli spazi urbani e le dinamiche sociali che li attraversano.
Attratto dagli estremismi , le sue fotografie si presentano come riflessioni emblematiche:
soggetti e oggetti che si decontestualizzano dall’esperienza del quotidiano.

Nanni Licitra (b. 1988, Vittoria, Italy)
Began his photographic research in 2008, working exclusively with analog processes. His practice
is grounded in a deliberately detached gaze, adopting the position of the observer to explore
the margins of contemporary urban life.
Licitra’s work focuses on peripheral landscapes and “non-places,” investigating the urban
environments and social dynamics that inhabit them. Drawn to extremities and tension points
within society, his images function as emblematic reflections in which subjects and objects are
subtly decontextualized from everyday experience. Through this displacement, the ordinary
becomes suspended, revealing latent psychological and symbolic dimensions.
